What is an animated gif?

Animated GIFs are a series of images put together in a sequence to make one file. They have the advantage of being supported by all major web browsers so you can ensure that, unlike flash ads, your ad will be seen.

I really want my banners to stand out, what should I put in them?

Identify a focus for your banners i.e. do you want to increase visibility in the marketplace, drive traffic to your site or perhaps introduce the sales team?
Tailor the text to your focus and choose images that are interesting and compliment the text. Remember the secret to ads is keeping it simple but creative. There’s only a split second to grab the Consumer’s attention, you want to entice the Consumer and get your message across before they move on.

How many messages can I have?

Be simple but creative, it’s best not to get bogged down with too many messages. It’s also a good idea to include your website and a call to action e.g. ‘click here’. Three messages of around seven words is what we recommended.

How many photos should I use?

When it comes to photos, less is definitely more. Banners cope with only a limited number of images before they start to pixelate (become dull/blotchy), Ideally 1 or 2 photos.

I’ve run out of room on the brief, what should I do?

Please feel free to send in additional pages if you require more room e.g. mock-up sketches from the contact page. email [email protected].

Where do I send my banner brief and images?

If you have more images and assets, please send the brief to us via email at [email protected]. If we need further clarification on the brief/images we will be in touch.

I’ve sent in the brief/images, when will I be able to review my banners?

Your banners will be ready for review in 3-4 days. We will keep you up to date with the progress of your banners and send you a link where you can review them online.

How do I go about making changes to the banners?

There are two rounds of revisions included in the charge for the banners. Please review the banners carefully as additional amends or amends deemed outside the scope of the brief may incur additional charges. If you have changes to the banners, please email them to us.
